MTN is Compensating Their Customers with 500MB Free Data. Have You Gotten Yours?

Following the recent service disruption experienced by MTN subscribers, the Telco giant is now dishing out free data for everyone who was affected by the incident.

MTN users across many African countries recently experienced slow internet connection due to a technical fault on two submarine cables owned by the company. Theough, the problem has been resolved and services returned to normal, the Telco giant is rewarding it's user with free 500mb, 200mb or 100mb as a way of compensating everyone who was affected by the issues.

In a statement released by MTN Nigeria, it promises that, the goodwill bonus data will be sent to all customers. And the telco company has started fulfilling this promise.

Some customers have been receiving a confirmation message from MTN about free 500mb or 200mb in their account.

The message above show an example of the SMS being sent to customers to take note of the arrival of the Awuf data to browse the internet.

So,  if you have not received any SMS on your phone about this, you can dial the given code: *131*4# to check your balance or you can open your  MyMTN app to view your data balance.
According the to message, the free data bonus has a validity of two days. So, check now before it is too late. 

However, it is understandable that not everyone will receive the SMS at the same time, so be patient if you have not receive yours.
